Query Letters That Get You Noticed By Agents and Editors!

Query letter writing is an art that can be learned. This is a hands on workshop, and all attendees will leave with a draft of their query letter. Workshop topics include what goes into a query letter and effective organization. We’ll talk about how best to tell the agent or editor why you are querying them how best to describe your book in one short paragraph. And most importantly, we’ll talk about how to add to your credentials, even if you think you don’t have any. Examples of good and bad query letters will be presented. We’ll also discuss the top mistakes new authors can make.

The following workshop was given at local libraries.
