Press Release

Tina Gabrielle, an Amazon Best-Selling author, is a former NJ Deputy aboutpic1Attorney General and mechanical engineer who pens novels about intelligent and ambitious heroines at a time when brains were not appreciated in a woman. She is the author of adventurous Regency historical romances: At The Spy’s Pleasure, A Spy Unmasked, In The Barrister’s Bed, In The Barrister’s Chambers, Lady Of Scandal, and A Perfect Scandal from Entangled Publishing and Kensington Publishing Corporation.

Tina’s books have been sold worldwide, including France, Spain, Russia, Indonesia, Thailand, Turkey, and the Netherlands. Publisher’s Weekly calls her Regency Barrister’s series, “Well-matched lovers…witty comradely repartee.” Tina’s books have been Barnes & Noble top picks. Her first book, Lady Of Scandal, was nominated as best first historical by Romantic Times Book Reviews and made the Barnes & Noble long list as “one of the top 50 books, CDs and DVDs to know about now.” It was also nominated as Best First Book for the Golden Leaf Contest sponsored by NJ Romance Writers. The second book in the series, A Perfect Scandal, also received Four Stars by Romantic Times, and the reviewer called it “Delicious, tantalizing and riveting.” Booklist called it “Scintillating.”

All of Tina's historical series involve unique women before their time. The heroine in A Spy Unmasked is an intelligent lady inventor, and Tina utilized her background as a mechanical engineer and patent attorney when crafting her characters. Lady Of Scandal includes a smart, savvy heroine who is an anonymous investor in the London stock exchange in the early 1800’s. The second book in the series, A Perfect Scandal, is about an aspiring artist who seeks to study art in Paris rather than marry the man chosen for her by her father. As true romances, the heroines battle the odds and find heroes who appreciate their talents and love them for who they truly are.

Tina's popular Regency Barrister Series, which launched with In The Barrister's Chambers, is the story about the daughter of a Master of the Bench, who has a voracious hunger for knowledge and the law at a time when women were not permitted to become barristers. The series is well researched, and Tina drew upon many of her experiences as a female in the law profession. Publisher’s Weekly gave it a wonderful review: “Former attorney Gabrielle launches a Regency series with legal backbone…the tale is bolstered by tantalizing love scenes, enthusiastically detailed portrayals of England's Regency-era legal system, and witty comradely repartee.” The book was also a Barnes & Noble Top Pick.

Tina is a literacy advocate, and she has given free workshops to the Girl Scouts, public libraries, and writers’ organizations.
